The IPL 2018 Purple Cap will be awarded to the bowler who will pick the most number of wickets in the 11th season of the league. All the top bowler will get the Purple Cap to wear on the field with their team logo. After the end of IPL 2018, the highest wicket-taker will receive the IPL 2018 Purple Cap.

Purple Cap IPL 2018 List

The IPL 2018 season is set to start with the opening game between defending champions Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings in Mumbai. Last season, SRH’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar became the IPL purple cap winner by taking 26 wickets at the average of 14.19 and economy of 7.06 in the 14 matches. RPS’s Jaydev Unadkat was the second highest wicket-taker bowler with 24 wickets at the economy of 7.02 in 12 matches while Mumbai’s Jasprit Bumrah was 3rd on the IPL purple cap list.
